Great chance to make a difference in your local community! BASS is seeking candidates for a Home Repair Coordinator for our non-profit client in Belfast, ME. In this role you will act as the primary field representative and technician to clients and contractors for Home Repair Services, including but not limited to Central Heating Improvement Program (CHIP), Above Ground Storage Tank (AST) Program, and Home Repair Program.
Some duties you will perform include:
-Perform assessments to check for eligibility for programs, and set up projects for those who are eligible.
-Coordinate with contractors to perform and provide these services.
-Document and aid in resolving client concerns.
-Assess new program guidelines and requirements, and assist in developing and implementing procedures for new and existing programs.
You will bring the following skills, experience, and education:
-At least three (3) years of experience in housing or a related field.
-Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Experience in residential construction management, including basic knowledge of building codes, project cost control, and record keeping preferred.
-Strong communication and problem resolution skills.
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to meet background clearance requirements.
