Forklift Operator/Warehouse in Old Town, ME
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting for Forklift Operators with prior forklift and warehouse experience.

Current openings for shifts Monday - Thursday: 8 am to 6 pm shift. Overtime Friday shifts during heavy production times.

Part of shift is working in the freezer unit and will require proper clothing.

Some tasks to include:

-accurately labeling and scanning products in and out of inventory,
-monitoring raw material stock levels (to notify management of low level or pending outage)
-receiving, moving, and storing incoming goods,
-checking and inspecting goods received for quality, and accuracy
-loading and unloading trucks in an efficient manner
-assist truckers with deliveries, shipments, and questions.
-work with Line Leaders for material deliveries and receipt of materials/finished

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.50 - $14/hr depending on experience
To be considered, applicants must have 3 years previous warehouse experience and forklift experience. Prefer candidates experienced with stand-up forklifts yet willing to train those with previous forklift experience.

Applicants must be able to work in a warehouse and/or cold environment, lift up to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs on occasion, stand for long periods, bend, reach, push, and pull.

Bangor Area Staffing has an immediate need for a full-time Warehouse Associate. This position has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Hours: Mon-Fri 7-4 or 8-5 with early out on Friday's! $14 to $15 an hour.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the acquisition, storage, and distribution of food and other products including pulling orders, unloading deliveries, repacking food products, operating warehouse equipment, volunteer supervision, and general maintenance and cleanup. The goal is to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge, Experience & Abilities Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years warehousing related experience and/or training
• Must have keen time management skills and the ability to multitask
• Be a strong independent worker, self-starter, and able work with minimum supervision
• Effective communication and training skills while working with diverse groups as part of a team
• Good math, legible writing skills, and ability to keep accurate records
• Experience driving automatic and standard vehicles, and operate standard warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, forklifts, pickers, tippers and dock levelers
• Computer skills
• Commit to adhering to safe food handling and storage guidelines and practices.
• Ability to function in extreme environment with freezer and refrigeration units. Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles, warehouse maintenance, and cleaning of vehicles.

Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Lead in Old Town, ME 04468
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Lead for our manufacturing client. In this position you will be planning, organizing, and controlling the warehouses’ overall operational activities. The Lead is required to manage and supervise shipment loading/unloading, and transferring of inventory. This person is also responsible for the filing and management of documents related to warehouse activities, such as: Bills of Lading, food safety checks, etc.

Some of the Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plans all warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the company’s objectives and targets.
• Ensure that all safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the warehouses and inventories.
• Ensure that all food safety (SQF) requirements are met.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory by performing cycle counts per schedule.
• Assist in the management of inventory levels.
• Motivate associates and develop an effective and efficient team.
• Enable the development of staff by organizing and holding training sessions.
• Cleaning & maintaining the facility including daily walk-through/general housekeeping.
• Inspecting & documentation of training for on forklifts.
• Manage pallet inventory.
Skills and Specifications:
• Must have good leadership skills, communication skills and organized.
• Be able to motivate staff and have a full understanding with numbers and reports.
Education and Qualification:
• Management degree or equivalent 5+ years warehouse management experience to include forklift, shipping & receiving, inventory management experience.

Shift: Mon-Thur, 6 am-4 pm. OT during high volume. Contract to Permanent position.
