Certified Dental Assistant in Bangor, ME 04401
Description
BASS is recruiting for a Certified Dental Assistant with a valid X-Ray License for our Bangor client. Seeking upbeat, positive candidates to assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with a calm and caring demeanor.

Other duties will include explaining medical needs, details regarding procedures and after care to patients; sterilizing instruments, and participating in general office wide cleaning and disinfection. Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

This position is open to those seeking either part time or full time! For full time, the schedule is typically 4 days per week, Tuesday-Friday, yet may require some Mondays as well. M+F hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, and T-Th are 7:00am-4:00pm. If seeking part time, you would be scheduled within those hours.
$15-16 per hour yet our client may consider higher pay rate depending on experience.
Requirements
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team to ensure practice goals are being met. The right applicant will have a high attention to detail, problem solving skills and respect for patients and co-workers. A strong work ethic is required.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be a Certified Dental Assistant with the Maine State Dental Board and have a valid X-Ray License.

Current schedule for full time in Ellsworth:

Wednesday (Ellsworth) 7:30a - 6:30p
Thursday (Bangor) 8:30a - 5:30p

If not able to work in Bangor, this position will start in Ellsworth working Monday, Wednesday and Friday. When office adds Tuesday and Thursday, must be able to move to full-time.

There is also a full time position for Bangor only, with a similar schedule.

Some tasks to include: Welcoming clients and checking them in, check out, scheduling appointments, entering clients data, and answering busy phones.
Requirements

Description
BASS is recruiting a Medical Registration Clerk for our client, a local non-profit. In this position you will be greeting patients, both in person and over the phone, and gathering the appropriate information (personal, financial, etc.) for all pre-admission and registration needs.

Duties include:
Verifying patient’s insurance coverage and ensure pre-certification/authorization/referrals are obtained.
Ensuring point of service collections are received for patients with copays and other financial responsibilities.
Explaining privacy policies and patient bill of rights.
Perform receptionist and clerical functions.
May perform new staff training, and/or oversight on a shift.

This position is expected to last at least six months. Pay is $15.00 per hour. The hours will vary Monday- Friday. Current shifts are: 7:00am – 3:30pm and 8:30am – 5:00pm with the schedule posted one week in advance.
