Description
BASS is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant for our client, a local medical office. Aid the doctors in helping patients get the care they deserve! In this role you will be performing both Medical Assisting duties, as well as helping out with some Administrative duties too. The schedule for this full time position is Monday/Friday 7am-12pm and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 7am-4pm.

Some Medical Assisting duties may include:
-Prepping patients
-Taking vital signs
-Phlebotomy
-Assisting with basic procedures and lab tests

Some Administrative duties may include:
-Registering patients/verifying insurance
-Scheduling appointment
-Receiving and processing payments
-Maintaining financial records

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Requirements
-Must have Certification as a Medical Assistant
-Experience as an MA in a healthcare setting preferred
-Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records and other office software
-Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and infection control protocols

Description
Seeking candidates for Cooks for our client, a long term care facility in Ellsworth. Must have some flexibility to work both first and second shifts during the week; 5am - 1:30pm and 11am - 7pm. These Contract to Permanent positions have every other weekend off and offer benefits once the evaluation requirements are met!

Some duties include:
-Prepare and serve meals in compliance with pre-established menus and recipes
-Supervise assigned dietary aides
-Complete daily cleaning checklist; assure work area is kept sanitary at all times

These positions must follow all infection control rules and regulations from the CDC and State of Maine; ensuring the safety of all Residents, Employees, and Visitors.

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
Knowledge of cooking methods and procedures. Familiar with kitchen equipment. Training in institutional food preparation or equivalent.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs. floor to waist; lift 10 lbs. waist to shoulder; lift and carry 30 lbs.; and push/pull 40 lbs. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during working hours.

Responsibilities within this position include the following:
Reviewing and analyzing medical reports and employment histories

You will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, communication and education. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Position will entail:

Ensure patient schedule flows smoothly; begin patient exams on time and perform them in a timely manner; communicate with Dr's and other staff to ensure optimum efficiency
Keep exam rooms, pre-testing rooms and other patient areas neat and clean
