You will be responsible for the delivery and quality of services through oversight of clinical policy development, programming, quality improvement and hiring, and fiscal oversight in coordination with the Leadership staff of the organization.
Review and update clinical policies & procedures in collaboration with board and staff.
Oversee program development in collaboration with staff and with Director of Clinical Services to identify needs, develop or revise and implement changes or new services.
Monitor administrative & clinical record audits, personnel records, performance-based contract obligations, and other records or procedures to ensure adherence with licensing (SAMHS, DHHS, MaineCare) and funding requirements.
Serve as a member of the agency management team.
Facilitate good communications and working relationships with other agencies and resources, and provide community education about Wellspring, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
Maintain client confidentiality as defined by 42-CFR regulations and demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
Hours typically are Monday thru Friday days, yet are flexible to allow for attendance at meetings and may include evening, holiday, or weekend consultation and backup when needed for staff when needed.
Registered Nurse (RN) with current State of Maine licensure and 3-5 years progressive supervisory experience.
Experience in screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of alcohol and drug withdrawal symptoms.
Ability and experience in hiring, supervising, training and evaluating staff.
Experience and comfort with using electronic health records, email, and office software programs
Experience with budget management.
Maturity and professionalism, with a sincere desire to work with recovering individuals from substance abuse.
