Certified Dental Assistant in Bangor, ME 04401
BASS is recruiting for a Certified Dental Assistant with a valid X-Ray License for our Bangor client for approximately 3-4 months. Seeking upbeat, positive candidates to assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with a calm and caring demeanor.

Other duties will include explaining medical needs, details regarding procedures and after care to patients; sterilizing instruments, and participating in general office wide cleaning and disinfection. Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

The schedule is typically 4 days per week, Tuesday-Friday, yet may require some Mondays as well. M+F hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, and T-Th are 7:00am-4:00pm.
$15-16 per hour yet our client may consider higher pay rate depending on experience.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team to ensure practice goals are being met. The right applicant will have a high attention to detail, problem solving skills and respect for patients and co-workers. A strong work ethic is required.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be a Certified Dental Assistant with the Maine State Dental Board and have a valid X-Ray License.

Position provides technical support to Disability Specialists to ensure timely case management. Will apply knowledge of related statutes and regulations to assist members/recipients and employers in the disability application and review processes. Responsibilities include providing general information about the Program, maintaining statistical tracking on case management, coordinating medical records, verifying actively seeking work activity, collecting data, and coordinating Medical Board preparation, including dictation and support services.

Maintain tracking in all applicable programs, including applications, reviews and voc rehab, case disposition, etc.
Transcribe medical consults & memos
Monitor the flow of information; identify and help resolve bottlenecks
Organize, track & scan incoming Medical Records; assist with requests for records, follow up calls, employer information, social security and workers' compensation records

Seeking qualified Office Manager candidates for our medical Client's busy office! You will organize, coordinate and maintain administration duties and office procedures; manage office staff, accounts payable, review accounts receivable, oversee ordering and maintenance of office supplies, schedule appointments, greet patients as needed and provide general administrative support to our employees where needed!

The successful candidate should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and the ability to ensure the smooth running of the office.


Serve as the point person for IT, maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping
Schedule office meetings and appointments
Update and maintain office policies as necessary
Organize and update office operations and procedures
Accounts payable duties
Manage General office and Administrative accounting, ensure accurate and timely reporting of government reports
Provide general support to patients as needed
Onboarding of new hires
Address employees queries regarding office procedure issues (e.g. schedules, personal days, vacations, etc.)
