Electronics Test Technician in Bangor, ME 04401
Description
The BASS team is seeking candidates for our clients Direct Hire Electronic Test Technician opportunity. A great opportunity to work with a team at a well established business. Pay is commensurate with skills and experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in testing electronic components, systems, and products. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic theory, the ability to read schematics and diagrams, and excellent problem-solving skills. A schedule that gives you time for family, Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with benefit package.

Some of the duties to include:
-Testing and troubleshooting equipment; create and update reject reports.
-Assistance in the preparation and maintenance of subassembly Test Plans
-Understanding of ESD causes and prevention.
-Visual inspection of printed circuit board (PCB); component level troubleshooting of defective PCB; PCB repair and component soldering.
-Inspection and electrical testing of PCB assemblies, transmitter modules and transmitters.
Requirements
Qualifications:
*Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
*Two-year technical degree/diploma or equivalent work experience required.
*Excellent communication skills to explain technical problems and recommend changes and/or improvements.
*Prefer experience in: working with analog, digital, and power electronic circuits and systems; working with RF systems (MF, HF, VHF); using electronic test equipment; testing and troubleshooting to the component level.
*Able to learn and multitask across a variety of equipment.

Forklift Operator/Warehouse in Old Town, ME
Description
Early Birds wanted! BASS is recruiting for Forklift Operators with prior stand-up forklift and warehouse experience. Preferred shift is Monday thru Friday 3:00am-11:30am, yet our client would also consider candidates seeking at 10:00pm-6:30am shift. Part of shift is working in the freezer unit and will require proper clothing.

Some tasks to include:

-Accurately labeling and scanning products in and out of inventory.
-Monitoring raw material stock levels (to notify management of low level or pending outage).
-Receiving, moving, and storing incoming goods.
-Checking and inspecting goods received for quality and accuracy.
-Loading and unloading trucks in an efficient manner.
-Assist truckers with deliveries, shipments, and questions.
-Work with Line Leaders for material deliveries and receipt of materials/finished.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00/hr depending on experience
Requirements
To be considered, applicants should have previous warehouse experience and must have stand-up forklift experience.

Applicants must be able to work in a warehouse and/or cold environment, lift up to 50 lbs and up to 75 lbs on occasion, stand for long periods, bend, reach, push, and pull.

Industrial Bakery Machine Operators in Old Town, ME 04468
Description
The BASS team is seeking top notch candidates for these two important positions for our client who has an industrial bakery operation. You do not need experience as our client will train yet you must have what it takes, see notes below.
Schedule flexibility: Both positions have a start time of 3 am yet the flexibility is for the length of the shift; 4 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours, or up to 12 hours, Monday thru Friday.

Why are these positions so important to the production of these delicious products?

1. Mixer position: The precise measurements of the ingredients when mixing is utmost in producing quality products. It includes: a high attention to detail, math knowledge to ensure measures are precise, ability to lift 50 lb bags of ingredients, and safely working the industrial mixer.

2. Filler/Baker (Hopper) position: Computer skills and a skillful eye is needed. Programing equipment to fill pans just right, send through ovens just right, ensure calibrations of equipment.

Production Line Supervisor (Overnights) in Old Town, ME 04478
Description
BASS is recruiting for a Production Line Supervisor (Direct Hire position) for our busy manufacturing client in Old Town. This overnight, hourly position allows for lots of OT!!; Shift is Monday thru Friday, 4 pm to 5 am.

Lead a team with a long tradition of making quality bakery products. In this position you will oversees the production process, from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, safety, and teamwork. Maintaining a superior level of quality for all products being produced by following and promoting all Good Manufacturing Practices throughout the bakery, commitment to, and understanding of, the SQF (Safe Quality Food) Program and safe work policies and practices.

Some duties to include:
Supervise and direct Team Leads and production line team.
Oversee the training of all new associates.
Verify that SQF monitoring and verification duties are completed
Maintain all safety standards
Order materials and packaging from the warehouse for each day's production
Verify case and item labels for description, etc.
Manage staffing levels for best productivity
Ensure completion of all daily shift paperwork, approve & submit daily
Verify the case count on the packing line report is correct
Requirements
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

-4+ years of hands-on supervisory experience and direct manufacturing experience preferably in a consumer baked goods company.
-Strong technical skills and working knowledge of production line equipment.
-Excellent communication skills in a fast paced environment.
-Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a challenging environment.
-Must have a basic understanding of the management skills needed to supervise others, including, but not limited to, organization, communication, delegation, coaching, and motivation.
-Must have good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
