Full-time, Direct Hire! Monday through Friday, 8 - 5. Hybrid schedule considered after 6 mos. of employment.
Position oversees the financial servicing, loan purchasing, and regulatory functions of our Client's loan portfolios, ensuring portfolios follow federal, state, and mortgage insurer/guarantor requirements, program policies, and that financial functions are handled in accordance with bond requirements and accounting standards. This role also conducts risk assessments and compliance reviews, and is responsible for vendor management and procurements in the Loan Administration area.
Supervise, coach, and develop staff
Manage the loan purchasing and financial reporting functions of the residential loan portfolio(s)
Manage the loan origination, loan servicing, and financial reporting requirements
Oversee financial aspects of defaulted loan portfolio, including the processing of expenditures, mortgage insurance claims, hazard insurance claims, and receipt of loan payments
Ensure compliance with various federal and state regulatory and legal requirements, Client policies and procedures, and mortgage insurance/guarantor guidelines
Oversee and coordinate regulatory audits conducted by federal and state agencies, mortgage insurance co's or government guarantors
Manage customer and partner relations
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of financial and regulatory compliance experience in mortgage banking and/or real estate office
Two employment references
Knowledge of various governmental and private mortgage insurer servicing requirements
Excellent written/oral communication and multi-tasking skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
Ability to supervise and lead others
Working knowledge of MS Office
