Multi-Family Loan Officer in Augusta, ME

Full-time, Direct Hire, Career opportunity! Monday through Friday, some telework available.
The primary responsibility of this role is financial underwriting and production of affordable multi-family rental housing.

Multi-family and Supporting Housing real estate underwriting
Determine project feasibility and ensure compliance with programmatic requirements
Evaluate appropriateness of funding sources and uses
Evaluate risk of operating budgets, rent structure, and income
Create, review, and update complex project development pro formas
Assign financial resources based upon project requirements/program restraints
Determine owner entity, principals, and affiliates' eligibility and ability to effectively manage, finance, and operate projects by ordering and analyzing organizational documents, credit reports, financial statements, etc.
Provide education and technical expertise to external partners
Order/review third-party reports
Determine compliance with State and Federal reg's/requirements
Prepare and present complex project summaries and recommendations
Assist with scoring of applications for competitive funding rounds

Requirements
Strong project management and financial analysis abilities, solid PC skills (including MS Word & Excel), excellent communication skills - including presenting to groups, knowledge of tax credits and familiarity with HUD, USDA, and Federal Home Loan Bank housing programs preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent; Mature work ethic; Two good employment references
